Day ❷ of TheGoddessGang – glutes strengthener One of my favorite glutes strengtheners is Cobra pose or Bhujangasana, with one leg up. A strong butt is the difference between bouncing up and keep going vs a painful injury after a fall on a hard surface like an ice spot. Cobra pose Firms the buttocks and targets the Anahata or Heart chakra. .
Day ④ of HappyBodyHappyYou – 💛 Heart (Cobra / Camel). Saturday nightyoga in the White room 🙂 I start with a vanilla Cobra pose. Unlike upward dog, arms are bent and quadriceps are in contact with floor. Then I bring both sides with one leg up, which is great for building strength in glutes and hamstrings.
Day ⑥ of OpenHeart4Yogis – Cobra pose or Bhujangasana firms the buttocks and awakens the kundalini. This prone pose activates the Heart chakra or Anahata. And rising the legs makes it a good builder for bigger and stronger thighs. .
Day ⑥ of Fallintobasics – Bhujangasana (Cobra) I bring a leg raise variation. This is great training for hamstrings and glutes.
Gratitude for confidence
Today I am grateful for confidence. Confidence should not be confused with ego, even if they might agree betimes. When you nail that perfect pose, with great posture, lighting and environment, both the confidence and ego agrees that you should go ahead and post it. But it’s the confidence that does the job during the progress. Regardless if you think you look too skinny, too fat, having ”wrong” facial expression, it’s not appropriate to post that asana yet, your posture is not good enough etc, with good confidence you’ll post anyways. It’s also confidence that makes you creative and experiment with post variations and new outfits.
