Janu Sirsasana, also known as Head-to-Knee Forward Bend or Head to Knee pose, targets the root chakra.

It is an intensive stretch for hamstrings and lower back, and is hence a great preparation for anything that requires very open hamstrings, like visvamitrasana, sundial pose, supersoldier, splits and bound lizard pose.
