Super soldier pose is a novel pose, also known as Inverted Compass Pose. It has thus no classic Sanskrit designation, although Viparita Parivrtta Surya Yantrasana is sometimes used. As with compass pose, it requires flexy hammies and open hips.

The best preparation poses for supersoldier are: Supta padangustasana (recline big toe), Parivrtta janusirasana (revolved head knee),
Utthan pristhasana (lizard), Prasarita (wide leg forward fold), Parivrtta Surya yantrasana (compass) and Ardha Chandrasana (sugar cane).
