This is the first time I shot this asana, although I practiced a bit during the weekend. I did first press from ground with one leg up. It worked but I believed I could get much higher if I started with ordinary wheel and then raise one leg up. But I couldn’t keep balance that way so I resorted to pressing with one leg up. I warmed up with backbends, but also some hip openers like bound angle pose to be safe.
