A September 2020 challenge

Hips n Hammies was a September 2020 challenge, from 7th to 14th. Asanas include Frog pose (Mandukasana), Skandasana (Side lunge), Pyramid pose (Parsvottanasana) and Split (Hanumanasana).

Pyramid Pose or Seated Forward Fold
Wide legged forward fold or Skandasana
Low Lunge or Pigeon Pose
Fire Hydrant Pose or Utthita Hasta Padanghusthasana
Any Splits Variation (incl. half splits) or Super Soldier Pose
Compass Pose or Shiva Pose (props and modifications are welcome)

Frog pose in April 18th 2021. Today is one of my favorite poses, the Frog pose or Mandukasana. When fully warmed up, this hip opener feels wonderful to stay in for a while.

Skandasana in June 25th 2018. I bring a  Sidelunge or  Skandasana as hipopener choice today. A great preparation pose for middle splits.

Pigeon pose in March 26th 2019. Doing a Friday catchup :) I've did regular  Pigeonpose and  Standingpigeon in past seasons, so I bring both now. And I bring both sides for both.  Twinshavemore
