A July 2024 challenge

Yoga in the Jungle 2024 was a July 2024 challenge, from 22nd to 26th. Asanas include Lizard pose (Utthan Pristhasana), Cobra pose (Bhujangasana), Camel pose (Ustrasana) and Eagle Pose (Garudasana).

Slithering snake – Cobra Pose 🐍
Floating camel – Camel Pose 🐫
Majestic Eagle – Eagle Pose 🦅
Leaping Frog – Frog Pose 🐸
Crawling Lizard – Lizard Pose 🦎

Cobra pose in August 25th 2023. “All men make mistakes, but only wise men learn from their mistakes.”

Camel pose in June 29th 2023. My choice for the desert animal is Camel Pose or Ustrasana, I basic one in the first slide and a kneeling backbend in the second.

Eagle Pose in January 7th 2022. Eagle Pose or Garudasana is one of a handful poses that are actually easier for me in an inversion. I bring one regular and one in tripodheadstand.

Frog pose in April 18th 2021. Today is one of my favorite poses, the Frog pose or Mandukasana. When fully warmed up, this hip opener feels wonderful to stay in for a while.
